What This is
Transform Your Massage

Discover a world of possibilities
LoMar® brings together two traditions:
Lomi Lomi — flowing, wave-like movement
Marma Point Therapy — precise, intentional touch
Together, they create a way of working that is both structured and intuitive.
Not about doing more but about feeling more.
The techniques are simple, yet deeply effective.
They are taught step by step, with time to feel, to explore, and to understand.

There is a moment when the body begins to communicate its needs, that can only heal in a space of stillness.
The LoMar Learning Retreat is an invitation into that space.
Held in the quiet beauty of a Moroccan riad, this is a time to step away from the pace of everyday life and into a slower and more peaceful space. A place where learning and experience are not separate and where touch becomes a language and intention becomes your guide.
The retreat is held within the warmth of the sun to the sound of the moving ocean and embraced by the touch of breezes. These are not just surroundings they are part of your experience.
Days are gently structured. Movement in the morning.
Time for practice and learning. Moments for stillness, reflection, and integration.
There are deliciously prepared meals that nourish body and soul.
There is time to step outside — to walk, to explore, and to be a part of the Morrocan landscape.
Nothing is forced. It simply supports your experience.
Who This Is For
This retreat is for those who feel drawn to the healing language of the body.
It may speak to people already working in the somatic field—massage therapists, bodyworkers, yoga teachers, movement practitioners, caregivers, or anyone whose work involves touch, presence, nervous system awareness, or embodied support. This retreat will deepen your professional practice.
It is also for you if you are new to bodywork, but curious to learn in a safe, gentle, and grounded way. The LoMar® Learning Retreat offers a more intimate understanding of your own body, your patterns, and the quiet intelligence held within. No prior experience is required.
You will also receive insights sourced from Ayurveda and Lomi Lomi that can be integrated into your self-care, daily balancing routines.

How We Learn
Learning here is purely and naturally experiential which is acquired through the through the intention of giving and receiving, repetition and awareness.
To start off with we focus on working compassionately
– how to be effective without effort and
– how to be present without losing yourself in “getting it right” or perfection.
Breath, intention, and inner posture become part of the work.
Not as techniques to apply, but as qualities that begin to emerge.
And somewhere along the way, something shifts.
A different kind of confidence begins to grow — one that is not based on performance,
but on feeling.
This is not only about learning a massage. It is about changing the way touch is understood because the requirement to let go and integrate is a quiet unfolding – a new way of be-ing.
This is where the healing process begins and what you experience here, does not stay here. This becoming moves with you — into your hands, your work and into your daily life.
Eight days to slow down, to listen, and to reconnect with the intelligence of your body.

FAQs
If you have any other questions we
have not adressed, your are welcome
to contact us.
What will I learn?
You’ll learn the foundations of the LoMar® Massage — its philosophy, flow, and energetic approach. This is a practical yet deeply experiential learning process. By the end of the week, you’ll be able to offer a range of new LoMar® techniques into your own style of somatic work – with clarity and confidence.
What is Somatic Work?
Somatic work is an embodied approach to healing and self-awareness. It works with the connection between body, mind, emotions, and the nervous system, helping you listen to your body’s signals and reconnect with its natural capacity for release, regulation, and integration.
Is this a training, a retreat or both?
It is both. There is a clear learning structure, with guided LoMar massage practice, body awareness, and integration. At the same time, the retreat setting allows space for rest, reflection, nourishment, and connection.
The intention is not to fill every moment, but to create a rhythm where learning can truly land in the body.
Will I have to massage and be massaged?
Yes, the learning happens through both giving and receiving. This is part of what makes the retreat so valuable. It allows participants to understand the work not only through the hands, but through their own body. Everything is guided with care, respect, and clear boundaries.
Is the retreat only for women?
The retreat is open to all people who feel genuinely drawn to this work and are willing to enter the space with respect, care, and sensitivity. Because the work involves touch, presence, and group learning, the atmosphere we create together matters deeply.
How do I know if this retreat is right for me?
This retreat is right for you if something in the language of touch, slowness, body awareness, and healing feels alive when you read about LoMar®.
How physically demanding is the retreat?
The retreat is gentle, but it is still an active learning experience. Participants will be standing, moving, giving/receiving massages. Everything is approached with awareness and respect for the body.
